July 2011 - Kelvatek attend ENA Conference.

Kelvatek recently attended the ENA’s inaugural Low Carbon Networks Fund Conference 2011. It was an informative 2 day event which allowed DNO’s, technology providers and even the public a detailed glimpse of the variety of Low Carbon Projects underway.

The first day saw presentations from CE Electric, WPD, Scottish Power, UKPN and (jointly for first time) ENW and Kelvatek. Darren Jones from ENW introduced Jonathan Rodgers, Kelvatek’s Low Voltage Manager, who presented the BIDOYNG project from it's IFI (Innovation Funding Incentive) beginnings, development, testing and manufacture, right through to LCN (Tier 1) deployment at site.

The second day introduced further projects and initiatives from each of the DNO’s and DECC's involvement. Both days were invaluable in terms of shared learning even at this early stage. We look forward to next years event with anticipation.
