February 2011 - Kelvatek attends Distributech
Kelvatek recently attended Distributech, an industry leading smart grid conference and exposition, covering automation and control systems, energy efficiency, demand response, renewable energy integration, advanced metering, T&D system operation and reliability, power delivery equipment and water utility technology.
The event was held in San Diego and ran Feb 1st through 3rd 2011. This year Distributech attracted over 6,000 industry professionals representing a variety of industries such as; Electric Utilities, Water Utilities, Gas Utilities, Rural Electric, Membership Co-op (REMC), Federal Power Agencies, Energy End Users, Energy Service Companies and Municipalities.

Following on from the launch of the PROFILE P3 at Finepoint in 2010 this was the perfect stage to showcase the first trip circuit breaker analyzer to a wide variety of transmission and distribution engineers. Representatives from Kelvatek spoke to attendees from a number of utilities such as San Diego Gas & Electric, Florida Power & Light, Hydro Quebec, U.S. Corp of Engineers, Southern California Edison, Alabama Power and Bonneville Power Authority about the benefits of first trip analysis and also the key features of the PROFILE P3 handset.
As well as showcasing existing products Distrubutech the forum provided the opportunity to interact with utility professional and converse on some of the challenges facing the various industries both today and in the future. Kelvatek focuses on understanding our customers needs and requirements and is committed to delivering innovative and customer focused solutions.
