May 2011 - Kelvatek Grow Asia Sales

Asia is a growing market for Kelvatek with sales in countries ranging from Vietnam down to Australia.

In May 2011 Sales Manager Roland Weir travelled to finalise agreements with partners in areas such as Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam and Thailand; adding strength and coverage to Kelvatek’s partner network already serving the region.

Kelvatek have laid the foundation for good business with PROFILE already a successful product in the region and the growing acceptance of first trip analysis and condition based maintenance for breakers.

Part of the program during the trip was also to ensure our partners are fully trained on Kelvatek’s products and technologies. The opportunity was also taken to attend joint meetings with our partners and customers for better understanding of local requirements and direction.

As with many parts of the world, utilities such as TNB, SGCC, EVN and China Light & Power are moving towards Smart Grid concepts with more pressure and demand being put on the performance of their respective networks.

To this end the BIDOYNG, our SMART FUSE concept received significant interest and again highlighted to these companies Kelvatek’s continued innovation and technical leadership.
